This book is by the Imam of Reciters in Iraq, Abi Muhammad Sibt Al-Khayyat, who died in 541 A.H, may Allah have mercy on his soul.

This book was adopted by Imam Ibn Al-Jazary, may Allah have mercy on his soul, in his book, Nashr Al-Qira'at Al-'ashr (Explaining the Ten Recitations) as a main source. The reader can go through the pages of this book and think thoroughly about its expressions to get familiar with the Science of the Qur'anic Recitations with this great Imam.

He started his book by mentioning the chains of narration, the origins of the reciters, and controversial issues.

This interesting book was of concern for Dr. Ayman Suweid, who provided students with it after he verified it according to the methodology adopted in the academic higher studies and compared it to a valuable copy that was written in the lifetime of the author, which goes back to 530 A.H, and which was classified as lost. Dr. Suweid attached tables that include chains of the original book, which reach its author, Imam Sibt Al-Khayyat, may Allah have mercy on his soul. These tables made the verified book more scientifically valuable and greatly useful.

This book is verified by Dr. Ayman Rushdi Suwayd, may Allah protect him.
