Al-Wafi fi Sharh Al-Shatibiyyah fi Al-Qira'at Al-Sab' The Sufficient Book on Explaining Al-Shatibiyyah in the Seven Recitations It is a brief explanation of the Lamiyyah by Abi Al-Qasim Ibn Firruh Al-Shatibi (died 590 AH), the poem that is known as Al-Shatibiyyah. The author of this book codified this poem, dug up its treasures, opened its locks, set rules it, detailed its general ideas, clarified the confusing expressions thereof, made clear its ambiguous expressions, and explained its signs. All that was done in a contemporary style that is distinguished by the quality of organization, clarity, focus, as well as easiness, accuracy of expressions, and strength of words. The author wrote this book for students of the Al-Azhar Institutes in Egypt and other students of Recitations Institutes who study Al-Shatibiyyah Poem.
