Qur'anic Scripting Phenomena in the Old Copy of the Qur'an in Al-Husain Mosque, Cairo

The old manuscripts of the Qur'an are of great historical and scientific value as each manuscript is a document that expresses the efforts exerted by the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and scholars to document the Qur'anic text. No doubt, the copies of the Qur'an in the first centuries are the most valuable in such study since they highlight important aspects relevant to copies of the Qur'an and the development of the Arabic scripting, the details of which are not known by some students. Thus, this study of the copy of the Qur'an in Al-Husain Mosque, Cairo (considered to be one of the early Scripts of the Qur'an in the second Hijri Century) is important because it identifies this copy, and it highlights the phenomena of scripting that are unique in this copy as well as comparing it to books of Qur'anic scripting and old scripted copies of the Qur'an along with the linguistic explanation of such phenomena.
